Alexander Mihajlovich as I wrote earlier, very much loved the daughter as she was the only child in a family. When she was ill with a meningitis and her life was threatened with danger, parents, knowing about it, suffered together with her. When to parents became for 70, there was not less painful question: «How to be?» On an old age of years there was nobody to be consoled, share the dreams of the future, there was no son and grandsons to have fun, descend ­ on a fur-tree, to laugh together with Father Frost and to receive gifts.

Galina Aleksandrovna was kind and very attentive girl. Loved music, especially piano. The cinema with the harmless termination was pleasant to her. Contacted to the girlfriends familiar irrespective of age. Liked to read.

Somehow in the evening she has come to me into a workshop with the big desire повеселить: «­Want, I to you will tell a joke?» And with a shining face and an unwinking stare has told:

Fools rush in where angels fear to tread,

If it is written, it is not read,

If it is read, it is not understood,

If it is understood, it is not correct ».

Both of us have strongly burst out laughing, and Galina Aleksandrovna has left happy with that has amused­ me.

Quiet minutes she was just fine, good-natured and very attentive­ to the interlocutor. Liked to write flowers with a great attention and sincerity. From a sort she was the painter. But as she could all details in a represented still-life and a landscape to collect in the general integrity, it was amazing. She loved flowers, basically a lilac from the Kolesnikovsky bush which annually blossomed under a window in a garden.

To her nobody did remarks, even the father. She worked, peacefully leaving all in the ­ unique pleasure of a life, the pleasure inherent only in her one. It is the world of painting which was for her it is unique true, favorite and delivering sincere pleasure. In ­ work on a canvas she mentally left in the world of beauty to which she has been betrayed, as to favorite music Sofronitsky of a film «Great Caruso».

Galina was very fair and kind as Alexander Mihajlovich Gerasimov spoke. When I was in Leningrad, I was called sometimes by Alexander Mihajlovich and spoke: «Zaharushka! Tomorrow there will arrive Galjusha, she will be arranged in« the Astoria »and will meet the girlfriend. Please, after work stay with Galjushej, descend at cinema, on a concert, money will be». Galina Aleksandrovna very much liked to listen Sofronitsky and constantly went on its concerts. She listened to them with a great attention. In Leningrad almost always Galina and on viewing of films was with me that occurred often enough. She looked the same film which was pleasant to her, on some times. From Moscow she often wrote me pleasant letters on everything that noticed.

Last days of the life she has asked me to arrive to her that I and have made. She has been confined to bed and complained to me of the illness, Vladilen­ Aleksandrovich Shabelnikov, her husband nearby sat­.
