A.M.Gerasimov and V.A.Giljarovsky

After closing of an exhibition of V.A.Giljarovsky has arrived to it home on apartment in the Ulanovsky lane, near to painting school. Giljarovsky has invited Gerasimov to itself, having told that at it good people that he has put on better gather. In 1913 in 44th issue of the magazine «the New word» which used wide popularity among fans of art where articles about art, about a life of artists were printed, reproductions from pictures of known masters were located, there was a reproduction with Gerasimovs "Three", and under a reproduction the poem of "Bolshak" with dedication to Gerasimov is printed:
Old white willows, hollow willows, 
All of you such as were then. 
The same around boundless fields, 
The same meadows that in former year.
Only road... Road other — 
With densely high grass has grown, 
Which-where sidewise a track, all curve, 
Greens having cut, a snake has lain down.

V. Giljarovsky.
Uncle Giljaj, answering in the First World War beginning patriotic appeals, has published in 1915 well illustrated collection of the poems. Many known artists have taken part in collection registration — Repin, Vasnetsov, Surikov, Makovsky, Serov, Nesterov, Malyutin, Kustodiev. All gathering and the royalties has been contributed to help fund to wounded soldiers and victims of war. This collection is interesting to the biography And. M.Gerasimov that in it among V.Giljarovskogo's other verses the poem "Cossacks" is placed. To this poem And. M.Gerasimov has made water colour drawing. Taken together — drawing and verses have been published by a separate post card in printing house Mamontova in Moscow. Gathering from its sale has arrived in the same fund. Then on the back of this card the author of a poem — V.Giljarovsky — will write such poetic lines:
Anything a call cheerful 
Round my room. 
I look out of the window: all above!

Having ended art and architectural branch of school of painting, sculpturing and architecture in 1915, A.M.Gerasimov followed to be to the military heads.
